You will see from the screenshots below that our current version has five tabs. The detailed features and functionality of these tabs are marked with an asterisk* as follows:
* Chat
A 24/7 board that’s always online with plenty of features. Users may discuss sobriety or connect with those considering a lifestyle change. Current topics update based on user request (SoberApps Team monitors) and a great place to put random messages of hope. Our website has these posts archived on a monthly basis. Users can also send us a custom emoticon (via email) to which everyone will be able to use within Sober™.
- No registration or logging in required.
- Remain anonymous or choose a different tag name each time you post.
- Multi-touch vertical swipe gesture to scroll through posts.
- Most recent messages are posted up top with time/date stamp (EST).
- Emoticons by touching + (bottom right of screen).
- Chat Refresh and Return functions (bottom left of screen).
- Request topic by posting or email us.
- 10 posts per page.
* Stories
Users can submit their personal stories which are posted within the App or send an audio only format. More detailed instructions are located by swiping down in the tab. Send us an email for any concerns. We will also send you an (optional) absolutely free SOBER™ Wristband for participating. To submit your personal stories please follow these guidelines:
- All work must be original reflecting your own personal experiences with sobriety.
- Between one and three pages in length.
- Fictitious names and places are encouraged.
- Be explicit if you must. This App is rated 17+.
- Multimedia welcomed (e.g. graphics and audio).
- Send us your story via email with an attachment (content in the email body without an attachment is acceptable).
- Audio only format accepted, .mp3 preferred.

Frequently updated YouTube feeds that we hand select and post relating to sobriety. The most recently added videos begin on the first page for the following three categories:
